Oltre Vivo — Slow Media for a Deeper Way of Living
The intention of this magazine is simple: to bring you back to yourself. Back to your own thoughts, your own curiosity, your own imagination—to the quieter voice beneath the constant noise of the world.
We live in a time when it is easy to become influenced by what everyone else is thinking, buying, watching, wanting and becoming. In the endless stream of other people's lives, we can slowly lose touch with our own.
Social media has changed not only what we look at, but how we look. We have become accustomed to speed—to the quick thought, the instant reaction, the endless scroll. Everything arrives at once and disappears just as quickly.
But the inner world does not work that way.
Thought needs space. Imagination needs silence. Intuition needs stillness.
This magazine was created as a place to slow down—hence the name Slow Media.
Why Oltre Vivo
Oltre Vivo is Italian and translates literally as “beyond living.” For us, the name is an invitation to look beyond the surface of everyday life. Beyond what is immediately visible. Beyond the noise, the expectations and the roles we so easily become absorbed in.
It is about exploring what lies underneath: consciousness, imagination, intuition, spirituality, creativity and the deeper meaning we create through the way we live.
A place to read without rushing. To encounter ideas without needing an immediate answer. To allow a sentence, an image or a story to stay with you long enough to become something of your own.
We want to return to the subtle pleasure of reading something slowly—to let words breathe, to let imagination wander, and to discover thoughts that are not immediately given to us, but begin to form within us.
Because the most beautiful forms of writing and art leave something unfinished. They leave space for you.
Space to wonder.
Space to remember.
Space to imagine.
Space to feel.
The Lives We Discover
We will explore the lives of other people—their stories, choices, relationships, work, struggles, rituals, beliefs and ways of seeing the world. We will meet conscious, curious and creative individuals from around the world, as well as people whose everyday lives hold something quietly extraordinary.
Their stories are not here to tell you how to live. They are here to inspire you to live your own life more consciously.
There is something powerful about witnessing another person's way of being. Their choices can challenge us, awaken us, comfort us or simply remind us that there are countless ways to move through this world.
Through their stories, perhaps you will discover a new possibility for yourself. Perhaps you will ask a different question. Perhaps you will remember something you already knew.
The Inner World
Alongside these stories, I will be writing about the deeper and more mysterious dimensions of being human: consciousness, spiritual evolution, intuition, clairvoyance, and the infinite wisdom that resides within each of us.
These subjects are invitations to explore rather than answers to follow.
I am interested in the unseen parts of our experience—the subtle feelings, inner knowing, synchronicities, questions and mysteries that cannot always be explained through logic alone.
I believe there is a quiet intelligence within us that can become difficult to hear beneath the noise of modern life.
Beneath the opinions, expectations and endless information, there is another kind of knowing.
A feeling.
An instinct.
A moment of clarity.
A voice that speaks softly.
Perhaps consciousness is, in part, the art of becoming still enough to hear it.
A Different Kind of Reading
I want Oltre Vivo to offer something different from the constant stream of content we have become accustomed to consuming.
Not more noise.
Not more things demanding your attention.
But something that gives your attention back to you.
The words here are meant to leave room for your own imagination. A story does not need to tell you exactly what to think. An image does not need to explain itself. An idea can remain open.
Because there is magic in allowing something to unfold within you rather than being told exactly what it means.
This is the kind of creativity we want to protect—the quiet kind.
The kind that happens when you read a sentence and suddenly think of your childhood. When an image makes you imagine a place you have never been. When someone's story makes you question your own path. When a few simple words stay with you for days.
A Blessing Within Each Word
As the editor, my deepest intention is to weave all of these threads together—conscious living, human stories, creativity, spirituality, intuition, imagination and the mysteries of our inner worlds.
I want these pages to be more than information to consume. I want them to be an experience.
Something that makes you pause.
A thought that stays with you throughout the day.
A story that opens a door.
A sentence that reminds you of something you had forgotten.
A feeling that brings you closer to yourself.
My intention is to bring a blessing within each word—something subtle that meets you exactly where you are and gently invites you inward.
Because perhaps conscious living isn't about becoming someone new.
Perhaps it is about remembering who you are beneath everything you have been told to be. About trusting your own questions. Listening to your intuition. Making space for your imagination. Following what feels alive within you.
And discovering that the wisdom you have been searching for may have been quietly residing within you all along.
Welcome to Oltre Vivo.
Slow Media for a deeper way of seeing, thinking and living.
Take your time.
Read slowly.
Look within.
And discover what lives beyond.
